Beginning his musical life in high school with popular Brisbane rock band Pharaoh’s Playground, William cut his teeth on the mid '90s rock circuit, recording two critically acclaimed EPs and gaining a fair slab of media attention; including having one track 'Forked Tongue' selected for inclusion on the Triple J 'Thirteen' compilation. William's new songs have a unique quality to them, sitting squarely in their own niche carved between adult pop and rock, drawing comparisons with the likes of george and Alex Lloyd. The new album 'Coconut Milk' was recorded at Brisbane’s Red Zeds recording studios with Joe Panetta and is a worthy showcase of William’s rare talent. From the MMM favourite 'Where Is Your Love' to the sweet adult tones of 'Flowers', there is an undeniable commerciality that flows between the tracks. |
