Recorded, along with the rest of the new album, with producer Phil McKellar (Cruel Sea, Silverchair, Grinspoon), Sometimes is a bubbling mixture of Mick Fleetwood-style drums à la ‘Go Your Own Way’ and slashes of searching rhythm guitar, all coated in Dexy’s Midnight Runners-style horns, circa the band’s classic single, ‘Geno’. The single also features two new non-album tracks, ‘One Sure Thing’ and ‘Trash ’n’ Treasure’, along with an extended version of Sometimes – an extra minute of guitar stabs, squealing horns and surging drums.
